Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has responded to rise of blurbs in Abuja, which implied he is offering for the VP position in the 2019 presidential survey.
The representative asked Nigerians to ignore the publications which he depicted as "handicraft of evil creators."
In an announcement by his Special Assistant on Electronic Media, Simeon Nwakaudu, the representative said the publications were from political evil creators who overlooked in their flurry that no one keeps running for the workplace of VP.
"We ask Nigerians to ignore these publications as they have no connection with the Rivers state representative.
"No one keeps running for the workplace of VP.
"The Rivers state senator has the command of the great individuals of Rivers state and he is centred around conveying quality undertakings and projects for the general population.
"Senator Wike won't be occupied by the tricks of confused government officials who need to misdirect Nigerians," he said.
