The Federal High Court in Lagos on Monday ruled against the Nigeria Police Force in the basic rights implementation suit documented by one Mr Okwuchukwu Obiechina said to be the brother brother-in-law of claimed kidnap kingpin, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike, AKA Evans.
Justice Mohammed Idris, in a judgment, proclaimed Obiechina's capture and confinement as illegal, holding that the remand arrange which the police guaranteed to have acquired from an officers' court was invalid.
